San Jeronimo :: Huanca Hike ::
Reaching the peak of Huanca is breathtaking. Standing at nearly 14,000 feet, I shudder in the glacial wind. Just beyond the dancing red scarf, I look down upon the Sacred Valley. I imagine that I am mighty bird circling a glorious landscape. This must be how such a bird always sees the world. Regretfully, I cannot show you this amazing sight. In a devastating moment, I realize that I am out of film.
