San Jeronimo :: Huanca Hike ::
The Church of Senor Huanca lies at the base of Mount Huanca. Each year, hundreds of Peruvians make the pilgrimage from San Jeronimo to his church to honor him. Situated in a fantastical manner against the mountain, the cathedral appears to reach out to you. This is the same feeling the journey to Haunca summons: being reached out to by forces much greater than your own. Your only obligation is to accept these out stretched arms.
