San Jeronimo :: Huanca Hike ::
Beginning in the small town of San Jeronimo, the hike to the summit of Huanca takes nearly six hours. Winding upward, I pass many golden hills that appear to be the highest point. Just beyond each set of hills, however, are more that reach even greater heights. I take endless photos of the unending highlands. I wonder to myself, how will I distinguish this hill from that hill when I get home?
