Machu Picchu :: Southwest Terracing ::
The southwestern face reveals that all sides of Machu Picchu were thought out with grace. Here, you see the highest temple of Machu Picchu mimicking the shape of the nearby mountain, Huayna Picchu. Virtually all sightlines within the sacred site honor the adjacent mountains in a similar fashion. On this day, I walk in and out of mist and moments that alter my being everlastingly.
