Machu Picchu :: Descending Steps ::
Seeking a quiet spot, free from noisy tourists, I descend the steps that fall from the western urban sector. At the base of the steps is the tip of the Amazon jungle and many unearthed areas of Machu Picchu. I want a peaceful cave though, where I can rest and peer into the mountains. Reaching the last step, my puma feet return, darting me left and leaping me over several terraces.
